The Clopton Trail
Image

Welcome to the Clopton Trail! This guided tour will introduce you to Hugh Clopton, a medieval merchant whose legacy is still visible in many of Stratford upon Avon's medieval buildings.

You will also meet Kit, your tour guide! Kit is a painter's apprentice, and is eager to show you some of the key sights of medieval Stratford.

There are six points on the trail. Each is accompanied by a 3-4 minute video that explores a particular place. The videos have sound, so you may wish to use headphones during the tour (captions are also available). Each tour point also has a 'read more' section that provides further details, including visitor information.

To begin, use the 'Map' button below to see the trail points on a map, or the 'List' button to see all the trail points as a list.
